Berklee's Accessibility Resources were so beneficial to me as a neurodiverse student who sometimes struggles to adjust to classes. They provided me with the needed resources and accommodations and sent letters to all my professors listing them. Professors are usually great at following them, and using the testing center was life-changing for me when taking exams. Also, research your professors! It can be hit or miss (I've been lucky with my choices), making or breaking a class seriously. I also wish people took the liberal arts classes more seriously, but what do you expect at a music school about networking and performing?

I had very high expectations for the school and was ready to get disappointed. However, this institution managed exceed everything I could've imagined. The first weeks where overwhelmingly joyous!

At Berklee, we receive excellent musical training to enhance our musicalities. We are provided with numerous opportunities to showcase ourselves. However, the improvement that I'd like to suggest is to not force students to fit into the a "box". While Berklee values jazz hugely, any students attend Berklee to gain knowledge in the modern music industry, including songwriting, audio engineering, etc. All of the mentioned categories are not very jazz related.
