Lily Collins, in pieno stile Emily, è in Italia con la troupe per girare alcune scene della quarta e (forse) ultima stagione della rom-com super glam. Di cui è appena stata annunciata la data di uscita. Più o meno, ecco. Ted Sarandos, grande capo di Netflix, ha cittao Emily in Paris tra quelle che vedremo prima della fine del 2024.
Una data, comunque, molto più vicina rispetto a quello che si pensava. Visti lo stop per gli scioperi di sceneggiatori e attori dello scorso anno e la concomitanza con le Olimpiadi di Parigi che rende più complicato girare nella Capitale francese quest’anno (tutto fermo da giugno a settembre). La trama della quarta stagione di “Emily in Paris”
La terza stagione ci ha lasciato con un enorme punto di domanda. Che coinvolge un po’ tutti i personaggi più amati della serie. Alfie rompe con Emily. Camille scopre di essere incinta del figlio di Gabriel. Mon Soleil di Benoit è stata scelta per l’Eurovision Song Contest. Ed Emily e Gabriel si rendono conto di essere sempre stati innamorati l’uno dell’altra per tutto il tempo. Che bello!
Nella quarta stagione di Emily in Paris ci aspettano una valanga di colpi di scena e alcune storie che trovano una loro conclusione. Grazie all’annuale evento di Netflix, Tudum, sappiamo che Emily dovrà affrontare un ultimatum e un colpo di scena inaspettato. Emily dovrà decidere se quello che ha sempre voluto è ciò di cui ha realmente bisogno. E mentre il suo cuore rimane ancorato a Parigi, la sua vita prende una svolta inaspettata nella prossima stagione. Non sorprendetevi di vederla impegnata in una vacanza romana».

“Emily in Paris” 4 sarà l’ultima stagione?
Se ne è parlato tanto. Quando Netflix ha rinnovato la serie per due stagioni in una volta sola, la sensazione era che fosse un modo “soft” per annunciare la chiusura di Emily in Paris. Dando così il tempo agli sceneggiatori di trovare la conclusione perfetta. Ma forse non è così. O, almeno, non la pensa così Darren Star. Creatore della serie (e di classici come Beverly Hills 90210 e Sex and the City).

«C’è ancora molta storia da raccontare e non abbiamo intenzione di chiudere le cose a breve», ha rivelato a Star. «E speriamo anche che la quarta stagione non sia la fine. Sento che tutti noi, creativamente, ci sentiamo nel mezzo di qualcosa, non verso la fine. Il creatore di Emily in Paris ha anche detto a Deadline che la quarta stagione «non è necessariamente concepita come un capitolo finale. Penso che, come ogni altra stagione, sia un ricco insieme di tante cose. Non c’è una fine in vista finché tutti non sentono che è il momento di finire. E non credo che questa serie sia limitata da un numero di stagioni predefinito. Credo che sia limitato dall’entusiasmo e dall’eccitazione di tutti nel volerla fare e nel raccontare le storie di questi personaggi».
