Reference: KB55Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 DOE + Yearly BonusLocation: LeicesterRole: Vehicle Technician / MechanicFirst Military Recruitment are partnering with a well-known automotive brand, looking to add a Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to their Leicester dealership.
As a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic, you will be carrying out diagnostic routines, repairs and testing of vehicles, in accordance with dealer and factory standards.
This role would suit an experienced Technician with the knowledge and experience to be able to identify problems and solutions promptly for your customers, you will also need to be EV Qualified and a Level 3 qualified vehicle technician.
Your Duties As a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic
Inspect customers’ vehicles/goods, prior to and on completion of service, maintenance or repair work.
Undertake diagnosis of repair requirements to vehicles.
Conduct electronic visual health checks (eVHC) on all vehicles and provide a comprehensive report with expert advice and recommendations for customers.
Carry out vehicle maintenance and repair in a safe and efficient manner to MOT and manufacturer standards.
Ensure a final inspection of all work is implemented and when requested, fully test if safety related or a customer concern.
Record accurate details of work done on Repair Order and other information required by policy and statutory procedure.
Compliance with Departmental and Company Policy, Statutory Legislation, Health and Safety, CVP
Participate in on-going training and development to ensure product and service knowledge is up to date.
Mentor and provide guidance to apprentice technicians, where applicable.
