Every town has a story, a past legend shared by its original inhabitants. Ward grew up in the slums of the Outer Banks with two of his friends, Hiram Lodge and John Routledge. They all heard the stories of lost treasure with the royal merchant ship. Ward heard them from the drunken old men of the cat and from the singing of the inhabitants of Figure 8. The dream of everyone in the obx, kooks and Poges, is the royal merchant . the poor to become rich and the rich to become famous.
While the teenagers of the Outer Banks were at parties drinking beer and smoking weed, me and my two best friends were at the beach looking at maps and manuscripts and everything related to the Royal Merchant. This was a dream that brought us together to reach the lost treasure and get out of the cat .
In my third year of high school, I fell in love with the most beautiful woman I had ever seen, Jennifer Jarrau , smart, beautiful, and her best quality was loyalty.
that was the beganing of the rift in my friendship with Hiram and John. Long nights searching for treasure became late shift in the restaurant . I worked on everything and anything and collected enough money to stand on my feet. I married the woman I love and she gave birth to a child for , whom I named Raphael, or as Jennifer liked to call him, rafe however, I did not left my ties with Hiram and John but helped fund their research trips for the Royal Merchant.
I made a name for myself in the Outer Banks and the mainland, but I did not break away from the past. My dream was to reach the Royal Merchant and get out of the cat. I left and did not want to go back again. For this reason, I had to lose the last weight on my back. My ties to the cat and my childhood friends. I cannot lie. I felt comfortable thinking about leaving the dream that brought us together. We became grown men with children and wives. Hyrum married Hermione Rodriguez and they had a child named Marcus, and John married Molly Ragnald.
I gave up on the dream when I saw Jennifer Jarrau , but Hiram and John risked everything for the sake of Merchantand stayed behind.

December 2003
"Listen, there are two heartbeats. What does that mean? My baby is sick, isn't he? Oh my God, oh my God." Jennifer screamed in horror.
"No, no, he's fine, Mrs. Cameron. Just calm down." The doctor said to the mother in horror, but that came with a different result than expected. "Calm down, calm down! Don't say calm down. I'm carrying in my stomach a baby with two heartbeats. Oh my God, get it out of me . you are the reasok you motherf*cker get it out of me" Jennifer screams . she continued insulting Ward and the doctor for a while until Ward grabbed her cheeks in his hands
"My dear, focus. You are not carrying a child with two heartbeats. You are pregnant with twins." Ward said with a big smile.
"Oh," she said, blushing from insult. "Yes, oh," he said, laughing
Ward was happy because he and Jennifer were going to have twins. They wanted to have a large number of children, although now he was worried. If she reacted like this now, what would happen at the time of birth.
"Oh my God, I'm sorry, I'm so sorry." she cried out in shame and looked between Ward and the doctor in confusion. "you said twins." He nodded. "I'm going to have twins. We have to buy unisex clothes, and we have to start now." she shouted in the rooms excitedly and happily. she jumped out of bed, ignoring everything, she grabbed her things and greeted the doctor at the door and left, ignoring her husband's protests.
"I'm sorry about that, Doctor Alice. She's just excited..." Doctor Alice raised her hand, waving it apologetically and with an understanding smile.
Ward say goodbye to the doctor and went out to join his wife, who was outside waiting for him smiling to the sun .
2004
Camren drove his car across the road to meet John and Hiram. In the past five months, he was hesitant to tell his friends that he was leaving to search for the royal merchant. He talked to his wife about what he should do. She did not hesitate to support him in any decision he wanted to make, and he wanted to leave the past behind him. Ward looks at the envelope he has with him 25 thousand that he well leaves to them as a final contribution and hopes that the matter will end without a fight.
Ward arrived at Chateau. He could see Big John playing with his 3-month-old son and Hiram sitting drinking a glass of cheap whiskey. "Hello." Ward said. Hiram looked at him with a smile after noticing the envelope in his hand. "hello, Ward. It's not your habit to be late." The smile went away after concentration. Hiram looked at Ward's features
"John, come here, there's something I want to talk about," Ward shouted, noticing Hiram's narrowed look
Big John came carrying his son on his neck, smiling until he noticed the thick atmosphere and his smile fell, "hello, Ward, what is this?" He pointed to the envelope and placed it on the table now.
"This is a 25 thousand to support your research trips. From now on, I will stop supporting this research. I have a family to focus on, children on the way, and a business to maintain. I cannot. I continue to finance something that has no results. It takes time and money that was supposed to be for my children, so I am sorry." Ward finished and left the envelope on the table and left in a hurry as he heard Hyrum screaming from behind him did not give him any attention , It was time to leave the imaginary things and focus on reality, work and family.
Ward returned home and Rafe greeted him in the garden, crying, "Daddy, Mama is crying." Ward went home running and saw Jennifer in pain, fallen on the stairs.
"Jenny, my love, what happened?" Ward, "I fell, i must go to the hospital the babies" Jennifer is crying now, and I pick her up and shout for Rafe to come after me.
Ward broke all the speed Rules as he was going to the hospital, afraid of what would happen. Are the children okay or not? Jennifer screams from the house until the nurse received her, who took her from me after I explained to her what happened.
A blur that passed , screaming at the hospital staff and patients sought to hug his son and tell him that his mother would be okay, waiting ,waiting .......
Ward did not know that today would be the happiest day of his life, and that three months from this day would be the worst
