Rogers Centre Information Guide | Toronto Blue Jays (2024)

Since 2012, the Blue Jays have included Saturday Salute in their portfolio of community programming, to pay tribute to members of our Canadian Armed Forces (CAF). Through this program, the Blue Jays are committed to commemorating the strength and sacrifices made by members of the Canadian Armed Forces and their families. On each Saturday home game, the Blue Jays host a CAF member and their family at the ballpark. During the third inning, the team honours this individual on-field through a video board tribute and presents him/her with a personalized Blue Jays jersey. The ceremony gives fans the opportunity to join the team in recognizing the hard work and sacrifices made by those who serve our country.

In order to provide our fans with a safe environment, the following security measures may be in effect:

Rogers Centre is proud to be a Sensory Inclusive Certified venue by KultureCity. Sensory Bags are available at any Fan Services, located on the 100-Level at Sections 123 and 141, on the 200-Level near Sections 212 and 236 and on the 500-Level near Sections 508 and 532.

Quiet Areas are located at 100L and 200L Gate 3 elevator lobby.

A Sensory Room can be found at Section 212 behind the Fan Services.

Rogers Blue Jays Baseball Partnership and Rogers Stadium Limited Partnership (the "Management") are committed to creating a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience for all guests at Rogers Centre (the "Stadium" or "Ballpark") and their Guide Dogs, Service Animals and Support Animals (collectively, the “Service/Support Animals”). The Management will not tolerate Service/Support Animals or their handlers exhibiting behaviours that negatively impact the experience for Stadium guests, pose a health and safety or security risk, are disruptive, or are otherwise exhibiting inappropriate behaviour as determined by Rogers Centre or Toronto Blue Jays staff. The Management reserves the right to deny admission or immediately remove from the Stadium without refund, any individual and their Service/Support Animal(s) exhibiting any of the foregoing behaviours. Examples of negative behaviours may include, but are not limited to:

Fans who are accompanied by Guide Dogs, Service Animals or permitted Support Animals are required to maintain control of them and must keep them on a leash or harness at all times while in the ballpark, and otherwise comply with current Rogers Centre rules and policies. If you encounter or observe any incident at the Stadium, you may report such incident (A) to any Toronto Blue Jays staff member (B) at any Fan Services location, or (C) by text messaging Fan Assist at 647-559-0060.

Since January 2006, Rogers Centre has been a smoke-free environment, in compliance with the Province of Ontario's Smoke-Free Ontario Act. Smoking is not permitted at any level in the building. This includes the use of any vapour, electronic cigarettes or cannabis. Security issues preclude us from allowing fans back into the building if they choose to exit. Those leaving the facility to smoke will not be permitted re-entry to the stadium.

Fans can connect with the Blue Jays and their favourite player(s) through our Social Media Clubhouse

Rogers Centre is excited to offer four new Social Spaces throughout the ballpark. Social Spaces will be available to all ticketed fans when not reserved by a group, while upper sections will remain open for all games.

Each person entering the stadium grants to the Management, their corporate affiliates, agents, broadcasters, business associates and/or sponsors (collectively, the “Authorized Parties”) the absolute and irrevocable right to utilize that person’s voice, image and/or likeness in connection with any transmission, retransmission or reproduction in whole or in part of the game to which such person is admitted. Each person entering the stadium further grants to the Authorized Parties the absolute and irrevocable right to use that persons voice, image and/or likeness for any purpose whatever, including on merchandise and in Blue Jays advertising, without restriction, and regardless of medium. Each person entering the stadium thereby waives all rights of inspection or approval regarding any use of his/her voice, image or likeness and any right to remuneration therefore, and releases and discharges the Authorized Parties from any and all claims and demands arising out of or in connection with the use of his/her voice, image or likeness, including, without limitation, any and all claims for invasion of privacy, right of publicity or defamation.

PRIOR TO, DURING AND FOLLOWING BASEBALL GAMES, INCLUDING DURING ALL BATTING PRACTICES, FIELDING PRACTICES AND WARM-UPS, ITEMS SUCH AS BASEBALLS, BATS AND FRAGMENTS THEREOF MAY BE THROWN OR HIT INTO THE STANDS AND CAUSE SERIOUS INJURY. Sun/Heat Safety and Tips

In Toronto, particularly in June, July, and August high temperatures may result in Heat Warnings issued by the City. Unless fluids are appropriately replaced, heat related illness may occur. To ensure you are arriving at the ballpark prepared to enjoy the game safely, we encourage fans to bring:

  • Sunscreen – 15-50 SPF
  • A hat
  • Sunglasses
  • A reusable water bottle – under 600Ml, non-glass or metal materials

Heat related problems can further be prevented by:

  • Wearing light, loose fitting clothes
  • Drinking plenty of water or sports drinks
  • Limiting alcohol consumption

Water Fountains are located at:

  • 100-Level: near Sections 101, 115, 125, 143
  • 200-Level: near Sections 207, 219, 229, 241
  • 500-Level: near Sections 508, 517, 520, 531, 541

If you become hot, sweaty, fatigued and thirsty, you should get out of the sun immediately and begin to replenish your fluids. If these symptoms continue or you develop dizziness or muscle cramps, you should visit one of our First Aid rooms for further evaluation and treatment.

Support Persons

Rogers Centre and the Toronto Blue Jays are committed to welcoming people with disabilities who are accompanied by a support person. A support person means, in relation to a person with a disability, another person who accompanies the person with a disability in order to help with communication, mobility, personal care or medical needs, or with access to goods or services. A support person need not be a person who is paid for such support services, and may be a friend or relative of the person with the disability.

All persons, including support persons, who are attending baseball games and other events at the Rogers Centre require an admission ticket and must pay regular admission fees.
