Not a five star resort. Rude service and bad food.

yeseniaf_13 (Miami, Florida) on Feb 10, 2024

The hotel is clean and modern which is why I don’t give it a one star. For the extremely high prices you would expect much more. The website is deceiving stating that the resort has multiple restaurants when in reality there’s only one, you have to cross the street and walk about 10 minutes to get to the Swan or Dolphin for more dining options. The room barely has toiletries, basic toiletries that are provided even by three star hotels were missing. The only thing they provided aside from soap and shampoo was a small pack of cotton balls. The cups in the bathroom are disposable and of the lowest quality. The worst part is the food on this property that room service was atrocious and the breakfast, even worse. The waitress who attended us on the second morning at breakfast in Amare was extremely rude, condescending, and pushy about the bill. Came by 4 times to close out the bill not letting me enjoy my morning properly. Made me feel like she thought we were about to dine and dash and forced me to give her my room key as proof that we were staying in the resort. I expressed my concern to a manager who only sided with the waitress (after having a completely different experience the morning prior). Extremely unprofessional. This is not a five star hotel experience. I paid $4,000 for 4 nights. Next time I’ll stay at the Ritz or the Four Seasons.

Don’t choose over Dolphin or Swan

Allie M on Feb 05, 2024

Don’t chose this over the Swan or Dolphin. While the building looks newer, it’s not nicer. Horribly hard beds when you really need a comfortable bed after arduous Disney days. No balconies. Bonvoy elite guests get a choice of minimal points (maybe 1,000?) or continental breakfast buffet. The continental was one strip of the regular buffet, which looked really nice, so why not give access to the full buffet? We did get an upgraded room view of the Epcot ball, but this view is better at the other “sister” properties. The hotel has a small pool outside the formal lobby, so it’s uncomfortable to go in your swimsuit and cover up / with your children. You do have access to all the nicer and larger Swan and Dolphin pools, but have to cross a 4-lane, busy street. They do have busses for the parks, but we didn’t use them as we found other avenues (walking, boating, and driving) more convenient. Overall, it’s fine. Nice to get/redeem Bonvoy points but that was the only benefit for us. Will go back to Swan and Dolphin next time.

Fantastic Hotel and Super friendly staff

paulwinters74 (Taunton, United Kingdom) on Feb 01, 2024

The recent stay I had at the Swan Reserve couldn’t be faulted. I was there on a business event and it was all so well planned that nothing was a trouble. The hotel is also perfectly placed for visiting the Disney world parks with great transport links tooAnd finally a special mention to Eddie in the on-site Coffee Shop. His customer service was amazing and he should be rewarded for it.We will definitely visit again soon!!!

Cozy stay at Swan Reserve

We took our nephews on their first ever Disney trip. We stayed here a couple days before going on to vacation rental house. We felt welcome from the time we got there. The bell staff were friendly and helpful. They have ample, secure self-parking that’s well lit and convenient. The front desk staff and all the staff we encountered were very friendly. We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite with a view of Epcot. It’s a very convenient location for both Epcot and Hollywood Studios and you can take a bus or drive to the other two parks. Our suite was convenient and clean. The large table was convenient for eating meals. The sofa bed was comfortable enough to my teenage nephews. The bed was comfortable too. The pillows were comfortable as well. We had plenty of towels and the split bath worked well for 4 people. We didn’t use the on-site pool but we walked across street to the larger shared pool. It was early June and thought it was hot outside the pool was still cold. We enjoyed our stay and the convenience. Next time we might just skip the vacation rental and stay in a Disney hotel the entire trip! We dined at Rosa Mexicano at the Swan and ate ice cream cones from the ice cream restaurant there for desert.

Fantastic hotel. Brilliant location.

We had an excellent EPCOT view room. We could also see the Magic Kingdom fireworks. Location is great. Walking distance or boat to EPCOT & Studios. Courtesy bus to other parks and Springs.Takeaway food from the cafe is good. Perfect for breakfast on the go or to take back to your room. Uber Eats deliver to the hotel lobby. Great for hot & cold food deliver and 7-11. Modern classy new hotel. Perfect if you don’t need the Disney styling. Well priced too.Would definitely stay again. All staff were really happy and helpful.
