Netflix's Dated and Related is about siblings becoming wingmen and wingwomen for each other, and some are more successful than others. With a beautiful villa in France as their backdrop, sibling pairs gathered, helping each other to find love. Some couples found their matches in the first episode, while others needed time to form deep connections. Three finalists left Dated and Related (which premiered in early September 2022) together in the season finale, but not every pair stayed together after the show ended.

It was easy to have mixed reactions to Dated and Related, as it was fun to see how the siblings brought out each other's personalities. However, at times, the onscreen action could be cringe-worthy. The cast members needed to watch each other on dates. The Dated and Related cast featured pairs from the U.S., like self-declared Jersey boys Chris Hahn and Jason Cohen, as well as Canadians Daniel and Julia Perfetto. Across the pond were some cast members who brought the drama, such as London-based twins Nina and Diana Parsijani, and Kaz and Kieran Bishop.

Kaz and Diana formed an instant connection on Dated and Related, but their siblings Kieran and Nina had a rockier relationship that didn't last. Julia and Joey Roppo started strong, but their chemistry fizzled, leading them to call things off. After some Instagram posts from Julia and Joey appeared in September 2022, it was easy to wonder if they might give their relationship another try.

Joey Is Dating Someone New

Unfortunately, Joey and Julia's rekindling after the show didn't last long. The couple split shortly after they were rumored to be back together. Joey has moved on and is in a happy relationship with the Brazillian influencer, Raphaela Sena. Joey recently shared moments from the couple’s trip back to Raphaela’s home in Brazil on his Instagram.

Julia is not reported to be in a relationship currently but has been able to stay in the spotlight following her time on Dated and Related. Julia works as an influencer for multiple companies and brands, including the hair care line, Olaplex. Julia recently posted a curly-hair routine with her brother and fellow Dated and Related cast mate, Daniel.

Kieran & Alara Couldn't Keep Their Connection Alive

Alara Taneri fought Nina for Kieran, despite Nina staking her claim. She took him on a date, constantly flirted, and eventually won him over. It doesn't seem like there's any bad blood between Alara and Nina now, but Alara has remained single. Alara and Kieran did not last beyond Dated and Related, as they lived a few hours apart, and found the challenges of a long-distance relationship too daunting, so they ended things. According to his Instagram, Kieran is working as a model and appears to still be single.

Like many other reality stars on Netflix, Alara's search for love brought her to Netflix's Perfect Match. Alara appeared as a cast member on season 2 of the hit reality dating competition. Alara made it to the end of the season, matching with Too Hot To Handle cast member, Stevan Ditter. However, Alara was left stunned when Stevan ghosted her following their time in the Villa. It seems like the struggles of a long-distance relationship are also to blame here, with Stevan telling People he, “didn’t have time to carry on a relationship, let alone one that was overseas.”

Daniel & Nina Couldn't Make Long Distance Work

Daniel and Nina's relationship blossomed towards the end of Dated and Related. They formed a sweet connection, and after the show, tried to make it work long-distance. Nina went back to her home in the UK while Daniel returned to Canada. Unfortunately, the distance proved to be too hard to bear for the couple, and they are no longer together. However, they both have successful careers as influencers. And, fans will be happy to know that Daniel and Joey’s "bromance" is still going strong.

The Winning Couple Didn't Last Long

Unsurprisingly, Kaz and Diana were the winners of Dated and Related season 1. They received the $100,000 grand prize, and according to Netflix Tudum, they plan on spending it on a lavish vacation without their meddling siblings. However, the pair could not adjust to life outside the villa. Kaz and Diana announced their split just weeks after Dated and Related season 1 aired.

Following the breakup, Diana has focused on building her career as an influencer alongside her twin sister, Nina. Nina & Diana share a joint Instagram account - they're brand ambassadors for companies like Fashion Nova. Kaz tried to find love again on reality TV as a cast member of Netflix’s Perfect Match season 2. Kaz left the villa matched with Love Is Blind star, Micah Lussier.
